Overview of the International Conference UP2026

The International Conference on Ultrafast Phenomena (UP) is a biennial conference covering ultrafast phenomena occurring on timescales ranging from picoseconds to attoseconds, as well as the technologies used to measure and control them. Since the first conference was held in 1976, the conference has been held every two years at locations around the world. UP2026 will mark the fourth time the conference has been held in Japan and the first since UP2014 in Okinawa, 12 years ago.

UP2026 will bring together researchers working in fields including atomic and molecular science, condensed matter physics, physical chemistry, and biophysics. The conference will feature presentations and discussions on the latest advances in ultrafast science, including ultrashort-pulse lasers, terahertz spectroscopy, electron- and X-ray-based measurement techniques, and ultrafast imaging.

About the RAP Booth

Through its booth exhibition at the workshop, RAP will introduce its research activities, research achievements, and international collaboration initiatives in photonics science. RAP will also introduce information on open research positions and career opportunities at RIKEN, including opportunities for early-career researchers and graduate students.

We look forward to seeing you at the RAP booth.
